The Waiting is The Hardest Part

I arrived at the airport in Cabo today to depart for Quito and learned that the airport in Houston (where I need to change planes) is closed due to a hurricane. Bummer. They were fortunately able to put me on the flight tomorrow. I got a hotel room near the airport and all is well, just an unexpected expense and an early lesson in being able to 'roll with it.'

The weather did clear up for us on Friday and we were able to behave like proper tourist (except for all the cards we still managed to play.) Manday and Kate started the day with some tennis and then we all took the bus to the marina. Our water taxi/glass bottom boat took us out to the arch and then to a snorkle cruise on a katamaran (sp?). We had a lovely dinner on the beach and then returned to the beach for parasailing this morning before heading to the airport...had get full use of those free gifts.
